All Roads Lead to Data
In true millennial form, it seems I have changed roles, or companies, or have relocated from one coast to another at least every two years since I graduated from college only six years ago.
During that time, I was young, eager, and ready to take on anything. I graduated from finance program that only emphasized careers in investment banking, corporate finance, or management consulting. And given the indispensable influence that Wall Street, mega corporations and professional service firms have on the economy and the world, it makes sense why. I was ecstatic to have proven myself and joined the class of thousands of new analysts that join ranks of banks and consulting firms across the world. Surrounded by the best and the brightest, I had the opportunity to live and work in New York, Washington, DC, and most recently Los Angeles. However, I couldn’t help but feel as though there was something missing.
